SCMS has achieved Distinguished School Recognition for four consecutive years by providing all Grade 6-8 students with engaging STEM education through the PLTW Gateway program. On Monday, September 20, 2021, the SCSD Board of Directors unanimously approved a Resolution regarding COVID-19 Safety Measures. This Resolution will be sent to the PDE Secretary of Education Noe Ortega, the PADoH Acting Secretary of Health Alison Beam, Senator Judy Ward, Representative Jim Gregory, and Governor Wolf.
