The Spring Cove School District is pleased to have joined forces with the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) to install NFHS Pixellox camera systems in the Central High School Gymnasium and at the Roaring Spring Athletic Field. Moving forward, SCSD athletic contests at these facilities will be livestreamed through the NFHS system. A subscription is required to view these events ($10.99/month or $69.99/year). The Spring Cove School District will be closed for in-person instruction today, Wednesday, February 3, 2021, due to weather.  All students will be assigned remote learning at home.  Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom by 9 AM.  Attendance will be taken via the Google form at the top of each school’s Google Classroom Classwork page. CHS students who attend the GACTC should also attend their CTC classes remotely.  No Grab-and-Go Meals will be available. 
Due to continued issues with significant drifting and the projection of continued wind and potential freezing this evening, there will be no after-school/evening activities today.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health has revised the travel order and now requires individuals entering Pennsylvania from other countries and states to have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to entering Pennsylvania or to quarantine for 10 days upon entry into Pennsylvania or to quarantine for 7 days with a negative test administered on or after day 5 of the quarantine. Due to the predicted inclement weather, the Spring Cove School District will be closed for in-person instruction tomorrow, Tuesday, January, 26, 2021, and all students will be assigned remote learning at home. Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom by 9 AM. Attendance will be taken via the Google form at the top of the school’s Google Classroom Classwork page. All GACTC classes will be held remotely, as well. No Grab-and-Go Meals will be available. After school athletic practices and contests will continue as scheduled.

Congratulations to Varsity Football Coach Dave Baker, who achieved his 200th career win after the Dragons defeated Bald Eagle Area on September 11th!

All SCSD schools will operate on a fully remote instructional model beginning December 1, 2020 through December 22, 2020, and will be closed for the holidays from December 23, 2020 through January 3, 2021.

The holiday break begins on Wednesday, December 23. All Spring Cove Schools will be reopening for in-person instruction five days per week beginning on Monday, January 4, 2021. Parents/Guardians should refer to their email for a letter from Dr. Baker with more details.
