PIAA Sports Physicals
 
PIAA recently passed a motion that sports physicals may be completed as early as May 1st this year and moving forward versus June 1st. Due to this recent change, the SCSD plans to offer 2 "inhouse" school sponsored sports physical dates. These sports physicals will be performed by Dr. Heaton, members of his staff, SCSD school nurses, and the athletic trainer. 
 
Current SCMS 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will have an opportunity to sign up to have a sports physical performed during the morning on Wednesday May 22nd at SCMS. Please register via this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A084EAEAA28ABFB6-49420795-scms
 
Current CHS 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will have an opportunity to sign up to have a sports physical performed during the morning on Wednesday May 29th at CHS. Please register via this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A084EAEAA28ABFB6-49423534-chscurrent
 
Student athletes still have the ability to have their sports physical done by a physician of their choice. The PIAA sports physical must be dated on or after MAY 1, 2024 to be good for any school sponsored sport offered during the 2024-2025 school year. ONLINE ATHLETIC REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED FOR ALL STUDENT ATHLETES PRIOR TO PARTICIPATION. 
 
First day of Fall sports: August 12, 2024 (exceptions Varsity Football Heat acclimation, and Varsity Golf start mandatory practices August 5th)
First day of Winter sports: November 15, 2024
First day of Spring sports: March 3, 2025
 

Once student-athletes have completed both items below they are able to participate: 

1) Online athletic registration (including PIAA sports physical) @ https://studentcentral.bigteams.com/

2) $50 Athletic Registration fee; checks made payable to SCSD; $50 check covers athletic participation for the entire 2023-2024 school year

 

Streaming Athletic EventsAll Home SCSD athletic events @ Central High School and the Roaring Spring Athletic field (football field) will be lived streamed on the newly installed NFHS Pixellot system. A monthly (or annual) subscription must be purchased to view these events. Please visit: https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/subscribe/retail for additional information on how to subscribe/access our SCSD live streamed athletic events.

General Admission Regular Season HOME events:

Adult $5; Student (1st - 12th grade) $2

 

ADULT ALL SPORTS PASSES: $60 (Good for all REGULAR season HOME Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, and Boys' Volleyball games)

STUDENT ALL SPORTS PASSES: $20 (Good for all REGULAR season HOME Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, and Boys' Volleyball games)

 

Reserved Varsity Football Season Tickets:

$35/seat; $10/seat with purchase of Adult All Sports Pass

 

 

LIFETIME ATHLETIC PASS: Available for FREE for SCSD residents age 65 or older.  Proper identification of age and proof of residence in the SCSD is required. PLEASE CONTACT THE ATHLETIC OFFICE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO BE ISSUED A LIFETIME PASS 814-473-5316. Seniors MUST BE present to sign for issued pass.
